The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for market study report services. Selected market study providers will be placed on a list of qualified firms authorized to provide market study services to applicants for DCA’s affordable housing programs. The agency estimates that these projects will range from 12 to 200 units in size and include both new construction and rehabilitation.

In addition, the RFQ states “DCA prefers Principal(s) of the firm to be a certified member, in good standing, with the National Council of Affordable Housing Market Analysts (NCAHMA). A certification letter from NCAHMA stating that the market study firm and its Principal(s) are NCAHMA members in good standing should be included.” Please contact Caitlin Geary at [email protected] or (202) 939-1778 if you require such letter.

Submissions must be received by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Questions regarding the specifics of this process may be directed to Cathy Johnson at [email protected] or 404-679-0642.
