The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) has issued guidance to housing partners regarding housing issues and increased needs as a result of the recent storms that affected the state. More specifically, KHC is informing multifamily project owners that most damage-related replacement costs are eligible for reimbursement from Reserve for Replacement (R4R) accounts. Information regarding how to obtain these funds, as well as information regarding loss draft policies and procedures, can be found on KHC’s Web site under Housing Production, Asset Management Compliance Monitoring. Questions regarding KHC’s R4R or loss draft processes can be directed to Sharon McCurdy at (800) 633-8896 or (502) 564-7630, extension 432 or by e-mail to smccurdy@kyhousing.org.

Likewise, KHC asks all multifamily project owners to report instances of displaced tenants to Jill King, director of Compliance at (800) 633-8896 or (502) 564-7630, extension 357 or by e-mail to jking@kyhousing.org.
