Oregon Housing & Community Services approved its 2012 Consolidated Funding Cycle (CFC) awards for multi-family housing during their July State Housing Council meeting. The state awarded more than $36 million in grants and tax credits to projects in 21 Oregon communities. These projects will support the building or rehabilitation of over 800 units of affordable housing in the state. For a complete list of winners, please click here.

OHCS will now be turning its attention to making improvements to its multi-family funding process for 2013. Internal works groups have decided to move away from a single Consolidated Funding Cycle for all project types, to more targeted application processes. They hope to define the application categories, timing, and scoring models in the coming months with input from external partners. OHCS anticipates having a working framework for the 2013 funding rounds in September and a complete draft of the 2013 Qualified Allocation Plan by November.
