The Kentucky Housing Corporation is accepting applications for an allocation of Project-Based Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. The application deadline is Monday, October 8, 2012. Eligible projects must be already participating in an affordable housing program such as HOME Investment Partnerships Program, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, Risk Sharing, Federal Home Loan Bank, etc. KHC will not give an allocation to projects that have any other type of project-based rental assistance. Up to 132 vouchers will be made available as project-based vouchers through this allocation process. Projects that demonstrate financial need will be placed in a lottery for an allocation of vouchers. KHC anticipates making allocation announcements by Friday, December 14, 2012.
