Minnesota Housing has released a draft of its 2014-2015 qualified allocation proposed changes plan for public comment.  To better accommodate the planning schedules of applicants, Minnesota Housing is proposing to use this Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) for housing tax credits that will be awarded for 2014 and 2015, rather than just 2014. The QAP that the Agency will propose in January of 2014 will apply to 2016 tax credits. This change will give developers approximately 15 months, rather than just 3 months, to react to QAP changes as they put together applications for tax credits developments.  A hearing is scheduled for February 20, 2013 at the agency headquarters in St. Paul.
