Connecticut: Applications under the 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program (LIHTC) should be submitted to the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority by November 3, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. The public comment period on the LIHTC Procedural changes will be open through November 7, 2014.

Illinois: The Illinois Housing Development Authority has released their 2015 Draft QAP for review and public comments. Comments are due to IHDA by Monday, November 3rd by 5pm. Written comments should be sent to Multifamilyfin@ihda.org. In addition to individual comment submissions directly to IHDA, you can provide your feedback to the Illinois Housing Council as we prepare comments from IHC to atraudt@ilhousing.org by Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 5pm.

Louisiana: The Louisiana Housing Corporation 2015 Qualified Allocation Plan is open for public comment.

Massachusetts: The Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development releases the Notice of Funding Availability of the Housing Preservation and Stabilization Trust Fund.

New Jersey: The New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency announces that documents for the second round of the Fund for Restoration of Multifamily Housing (FRM) have been updated.

Pennsylvania: The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency announces that PennHOMES and Tax Credits will be changing to one cycle with all applications for the 2015 cycle due on Friday, January 30, 2015. The announcement of funding for the cycle is anticipated to be May 2015.

Pennsylvania: For those who attended the 2015 LIHTC Pre-Application meeting, plus those who couldn’t make the meeting, PHFA is providing the Word Documents needed to complete the 2015 applications.

Texas: Registration is now open for the Multifamily Finance Division of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs Application Workshops. These workshops will focus on the completion of the 2015 Uniform Multifamily Application. The Dallas and Houston workshops are half-day programs intended for Applicants experienced in submitting HTC Applications and will focus on changes to the 2015 Cycle. Applicants with limited experience are encouraged to attend the full-day workshop in Austin which will provide a comprehensive overview of the Application process.

Washington: The Washington State Housing Finance Commission announces that the 9 Percent 2015 Tax Credit Competitive application package is now available online. The Application deadline is Friday, January 23rd, 2015 by 5PM.  Total Development Cost Limits (TDC) are currently being reviewed. Revisions to the TDC limits are being considered and will be presented at the November 20th, 2014 Commission Meeting. Any changes to the TDC limits will be reflected in new forms and posted immediately following the Commission meeting.
