Issue two of the 2015 Qualified Allocation Plan FAQ has been posted to the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) website under Technical Assistance. Due to the nature and volume of incoming questions, staff has revised the FAQ publication schedule. Please see page 3 of the document for additional details.

OHFA Office of Planning, Preservation, and Development announces the first of five regional public forums will be held in Columbus, Ohio. Community members including public, private and non-profit organizations throughout central Ohio are invited to be a part of discussions around the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan. The forum will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 12:00 PM at the Columbus Metropolitan Library – 3540 South High Street Columbus, Ohio 43207.

Registration has opened for the 2016 Statewide Policy Summit, taking place on Tuesday, December 16 in Columbus, Ohio. Register today to take advantage of an opportunity to support development of policy pools being considered for the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP).

An updated version of the 2015 Housing Tax Credit AHFA has been posted to the OHFA website. The data worksheet in the AHFA has been revised to incorporate the 2014 LIHTC Rent Limits.

OHFA will hold a DevCo Online Application User Training for individuals who will be completing the online application for the 2015 Housing Tax Credit Program. The training will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Auditorium in Columbus. Additional information will be posted on OHFA’s website as it becomes available.

OHFA Office of Planning, Preservation, and Development has posted revised guidelines for the Housing Development Loan (HDL) 2015 program year in an effort to identify recommendations for improvement and to invite public comment. Staff will consider comments through Friday, December 5, with a second draft expected mid-December 2014.

The Multifamily Lending Program was approved by the OHFA Board on September 17. The objective of the program is to provide financing to 20 projects a year (approximately 1,000 units) over state fiscal years 2015 through 2017. The draft version of the Multifamily Lending Program Policies and Procedures and its related forms/documents are now available for your review and feedback. OHFA will begin accepting applications for the program on Monday, December 1.
