The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Office of Planning, Preservation and Development (PP&D) invites community members including public, private, and non-profit organizations throughout Ohio to be a part of discussions around the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). The next regional forum will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the Blue Ash Metropolitan Library at 4911 Cooper Road in Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.

Registration has opened for the Statewide Housing Policy Summit, taking place on Tuesday, December 16 in Columbus, Ohio. Register today to take advantage of an opportunity to support development of policy pools being considered for the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP).

OHFA will hold a DevCo Online Application User Training for individuals who will be completing the online application for the 2015 Housing Tax Credit Program. Registration will be available soon for the training to be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM at the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Auditorium at1980 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH, 43223.

A draft of the 2015 Housing Development Loan Guidelines has been posted to the OHFA website for public review and comment. Given the nature of the proposed changes to requirements and eligible uses of this resource, the comment period has been extended to January 1, 2015 to gather additional feedback from development partners. Partners proposing use of this resource during construction or in conjunction with rehabilitation projects are encouraged to review the draft and submit written comments to the 2015 QAP Mailbox: 2015QAPMailbox@ohiohome.org. A final draft will be presented to OHFA’s Multifamily Committee and Board in the month of January for final consideration.
