California Housing Partnership released a Utility Incentive Program Matrix for affordable rental housing in the state. The Matrix is intended to assist owners of affordable rental housing in accessing utility efficiency and renewable incentive programs in California, and help them choose the programs that meet the specific needs of each property. The Matrix provides summaries of the following information for each utility program:

- Value of incentives
- Delivery model
- Audit requirements, costs and incentives
- Minimum improvements and measures required
- Eligibility requirements
- Utility territory covered
- Contact information for each of the program administrators.
