Idaho Housing Finance Agency released per unit cost limits for develop projects seeking an allocation of Low Income Housing Tax Credits.

The IHFA-determined factor has been tailored to generate a cost reasonableness review of approximately 25% of the incoming applications.

As you all know, cost containment has become a national focal point of attention.  With the new limits it is IHFA’s hope that any unusual cost issues can be documented early in the development process.

The 2016 cost limits are posted on our website at www.idahohousing.com under Multifamily Housing/ Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).
