Currently WHEDA is completing the tax escrow analysis for all properties.  WHEDA analyzes each parcel individually and adjusts each escrow account.

All Properties

Similar to past years, WHEDA will be calculating escrow payments by increasing the 2017 tax bill by 3%. This change will take effect on March 1st.

Overages in tax escrow accounts

WHEDA will be returning any overages of $1,000 or more (parcel basis) via ACH In February. In the event that your overage is less than $1,000 and you would like this refunded please contact your Portfolio Risk Officer.

Shortages in tax escrow accounts

If you had a shortage in your escrow for the 2017 taxes this amount will be included the increase that is implemented on March 1st.  The amount of the shortage will be spread over the remaining 10 payments in 2018.

Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOTS)

These are analyzed manually and payments are adjusted accordingly.
