The Arizona Department of Housing requests comments through its 2019 Qualified Allocation Plan (“QAP”) public participation process as it determines whether to implement the income averaging set-aside election established in the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018, and if implemented, how it would be incorporated in the 2019 QAP. The Department will not be implementing income averaging for any projects awarded through the 2018 QAP.
All comments received by July 13, 2018 at 5:00 pm, including comments regarding income averaging, will be considered in formulating the first draft of the 2019 QAP.
