The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (“TDHCA”) Asset Management Division would like to remind Owners and Management Agents of Housing Tax Credit (“HTC”) Developments that a fully executed and recorded HTC Land Use Restriction Agreement (“LURA”) must be received by TDHCA by Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, for any Development with buildings beginning their Credit Period in 2018 to avoid issues with noncompliance.

Instructions for items that must be submitted in order to receive your draft LURA are included in the Post Award Activities Manual located on the Asset Management Division’s web page at:  http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/asset-management/pca-manual.htm. LURA origination may take up to 30 days and your request should be sent in as soon as possible to avoid any potential delays due to corrections or recording timelines.

Questions about LURAs can be directed to your Asset Manager. A current list of Asset Management Region assignments are listed on the Asset Management web page at: http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/asset-management/contacts.htm.
