CHFA has published the following white papers highlighting Colorado’s Housing Affordability Gap, an overview of the state’s Housing Continuum, and a summary of Federal Housing Resources available to support affordable housing.

Research shows that Coloradans must earn $92,500 annually in order to afford the median home price of $368,000, and $52,680 to afford the statewide median rent of $1,317 without being cost-burdened. This places housing out of reach for many in Colorado, where the median annual income is $69,117 and $45,707 among renters-households.1
