The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) announced the hire of Mark Stivers as the acting Deputy Director for the Division of Financial Assistance. The Division of Financial Assistance administers the HCD’s loan and grant programs.
Mark joins HCD after serving four years as the Executive Director of the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC). Prior to TCAC, Mark served 16 years as the primary housing consultant to the California Senate, where he focused on land use and affodable housing legislation.
