The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) released the Draft Housing Development Loan (HDL) program guidelines, as well as an overview of the updates made. HDL funding is available to both nine percent and four percent tax credit projects. Comments will be accepted through June 3 and a final draft will be presented to the OHFA Board for approval in June. Comments can be sent to dalecusan@ohiohome.org.

OHFA’s Office of Housing Policy released the Draft 2020 Housing Needs Assessment and the Draft 2020 Annual Plan. The Housing Needs Assessment evaluates Ohio’s current housing landscape to gauge housing needs, identify gaps, and highlight key trends. Findings from the Housing Needs Assessment inform OHFA’s programmatic and policy decisions throughout the year, such as the Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP), to ensure that every Ohioan has access to safe, affordable housing. Send comments on both documents to OHFAPublicHearing@ohiohome.org.
