The Idaho Housing Finance Association (IHFA) is now accepting applications for LIHTC through 5 pm MDT on Friday, August 2, 2019.
Developers of affordable housing interested in applying for LIHTC may contact the Project Financing Department at (208) 331-4777 for access to a newly designed portal system for electronic application submission. Applications will only be accepted electronically. Please mail application fees to the Project Finance Department, P.O. Box 7899, Boise, ID 83707-1899 prior to the application deadline.
In addition, IHFA announced a change in its selection criteria. In scoring Selection Criteria #10, IHFA will only use the poverty rate criteria highlighted below to award the point.
Developments must be located in a census tract with a poverty rate that is equal to or less than 15 and has 50 percent of households with income above 60 percent of the Area Median Gross Income in order to receive points in this category. Poverty rates by census tracts can be search for here.
