The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) announced Lisa Beran as its new interim executive director and chief executive officer after Edwin King announced his resignation to enter the private sector.

Lisa formerly served as deputy executive director and general counsel of KHC, and had retired in March 2019, but returned as interim executive director on August 19. Prior to her employment with KHC, Lisa served as legal counsel for Kentucky’s statewide network of domestic violence shelter programs; as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.; and as a staff attorney with Legal Aid.

Lisa is a graduate of Wake Forest University, The Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati.
