The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) released the 2020 Housing Tax Credit Site Demographic Characteristics Report. The report lists all of the “places” in Texas and the place’s population, region numbers, which metropolitan statistical area they are located in and rural or urban designation. The population data is derived from table B01003 of the 2013-2017 American Community Survey Five Year data set. Please contact jason.burr@tdhca.state.tx.us with questions about the designations.
