The Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition (AHTCC) announced recipients of the 2020 Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Awards, recognizing some of the most outstanding affordable housing developments across the country. Congratulations to the four NH&RA members receiving awards!

Flat nine at Whittier in Roxbury, MA, has won a 2020 Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Award in the HUD Preservation Category. Developed by Preservation of Affordable Housing and Madison Park Development Corporation, Flat 9 at Whittier provides 92 mixed-income homes, with 66 homes affordable to households making at or below 60 percent of area median income.

In Atlanta, GA, Amani Place has won a 2020 Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Award in the HUD Preservation Category. Developed by Jonathan Rose Companies and Columbia Residential, Amani Place is a transformation that now provides 222 affordable homes and much-needed community amenities through the renovation of the existing 204 units and the new construction of three residential buildings.

New Path Community Housing in Boise, ID, has won a 2020 Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Award in the Small Metropolitan Category. Developed by Pacific West Communities, Inc. and Northwest Integrity Housing Co., the 40-unit permanent supportive housing property is Idaho’s first Housing First development.
