MacRostie Historic Advisors LLC (MHA) recently acquired the Historic Tax Credit practice of Maine-based Sutherland Conservation & Consulting (SCC). While Amy Cole Ives, SCC founder and president, will continue her architectural conservation practice as Sutherland Conservation & Consulting, Scott Hanson, formerly of SCC, has joined the MHA Boston team as a senior associate and will service current and future projects in Maine and other locations in the Northeast. Prior to the acquisition, Scott has partnered with MHA to manage the Historic Tax Credit consulting for several public housing projects currently underway.
