Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers (HAND) released an online Housing Indicator Tool (HIT), a platform that will provide the most up-to-date information on housing production across the region, with a comparison to established local housing targets from the Capital Region’s housing affordability challenge. The tool will be updated annually with housing data from each jurisdiction, and the inaugural release includes two years of scorecard data to provide a more comprehensive look at our current state-of-affairs.

Before jumping into the HIT, HAND invites you to read Compounding Interests, Compounding Inequities: Racism, Housing, and Our Region’s Responsibility to Act. This companion piece provides key context to support the jurisdictional data, highlights on successful models and more.
