The City of Chicago released its draft 2021 Qualified Allocation Plan. The QAP describes the selection criteria and application requirements for affordable housing developments receiving federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits and tax-exempt bonds.

The draft 2021 QAP is now available for public review. DOH has also issued the country’s first Racial Equity Impact Assessment of the QAP and a draft Architectural Standards (ATS) Manual for a 30-day public comment period.

DOH is currently accepting public comments on the draft 2021 QAP through April 15, 2021.All comments should be submitted to doh@cityofchicago.org. The City intends to issue the final QAP later this spring.
