The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) anticipates making available $10 million in state tax credits to nonprofit applicants that will create housing opportunities in the following classifications:

  • Workforce Housing ($1 million);
  • Supportive Housing ($2 million); and
  • Other Housing Opportunities ($7 million).

A maximum of $500,000 may be awarded to each successful applicant. Applications for funding must be submitted electronically through the SharePoint website using the Consolidated Application Version 2021 no later than 4 p.m. ET on June 1, 2021. A SharePoint site must be requested by May 25, 2021 by emailed applicationrequest@chfa.org, per the instructions on the CHFA website.
