The Louisiana Housing Corporation’s (LHC) board of directors approved the draft 2022 QAP, which will now proceed to the public comment period. LHC will hold an in-person QAP hearing on June 3 at 10 a.m. ET at LHC’s office (2415 Quail Drive Baton Rouge, LA). Written comments via e-mail to qapcomments@lhc.la.gov.

The board also approved a resolution allowing LHC to issue a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Rural Bond Bundle Program (RBBP), which will address the state’s ongoing need for affordable, safe and resilient housing for low- to moderate-income households in rural areas, targeting aging and deteriorating USDA-financed, project-based developments located in rural areas impacted by the 2016 floods. The program will utilize $15 million in CDBG funds, in conjunction with four percent LIHTCs.
