The Architectural Team announced several new properties it designed with more than 200 units of mixed-income housing will open this month in and around Boston.

The firm said the properties highlight a variety of innovative design solutions addressing housing shortages and improving livability in diverse urban neighborhoods. The new architectural works include:

  • Ropewalk, converted from America’s last remaining historic rope-making factory;
  • Hearth at Four Corners, a supportive housing community for seniors at risk of homelessness; and
  • Harborwalk Residences and Harbor 125 Apartments, the redevelopment of a decades-old public housing property, formerly with only 20 apartments, into 22 deeply affordable homes and 30 mixed-income condominiums on the East Boston waterfront.
