The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) and the Texas Apartment Association (TAA) have released the online training schedule for Fall 2021.  

  • November 16 – Income Determination Training – h attps://www.taa.org/events/income-determination-training-aka-tdhcas-first-thursday-training-live-online-10/; and 
  • November 18 – Housing Tax Credit Training – https://www.taa.org/events/htc-live-online-11/. 

The Income Determination Training focuses on eligibility requirements of TDHCA’s various affordable housing programs. The course covers topics, such as income, assets, student status, documenting household income and more. The Housing Tax Credit Training provides a solid foundation that covers such topics as student eligibility, utility allowances, the Average Income minimum set aside, tenant supportive services and more. The Multifamily Direct Loan Training offers everything you need to know about the HOME, National Housing Trust Fund (HTF), Tax Credit Assistance Program Repayment Funds (TCAP RF) and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).   

Attendees must register with TAA.
