A leaked report from Goldman Sachs released Sunday estimates that about 750,000 households could face eviction later this year unless Congress acts or rental assistance funds are distributed more quickly.

New data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Household Pulse Survey, Week 34 (July 21 – August 2) estimates that 62 percent of currently delinquent renters have not yet applied for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).

The data is specifically from Table 3b. Likelihood of Having to Leave this House in Next Two Months Due to Eviction, by Select Characteristics. The sample size is 7,930,614.
