The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) is the recipient of approximately $132.9 million in HOME-ARP funds. HOME-ARP funds are able to be used for a variety of activities, including tenant-based rental assistance, development of affordable housing, supportive services, non-congregate emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing and operating costs for eligible nonprofit organizations. Households eligible to be assisted with HOME-ARP funds include those who are: homeless, at risk of homelessness, fleeing Domestic Violence or others with housing instability.
