Trisha Miller with Elevate Energy authored an op-ed for the Chicago Tribune highlighting the benefits of equitable building electrification. The need for investment in electrification that reaches underserved communities is enormous. Thankfully, the Build Back Better Act shows long-awaited national leadership on building electrification, providing up to $14,000 for low- and moderate-income households to upgrade to electric appliances, such as stoves and heat pumps. This funding is needed now more than ever to protect low-income families. Trisha recently moderated an Unmute the Mic webinar on Creating Value in Your Existing Portfolio Through Energy Efficiency. The recording is available in our On-Demand Learning Management Center.
