The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) posted a revised Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Emergency Rental Assistance 2 (ERA 2) Housing Stability Services (HSS) funds. This NOFA makes $84 million available for cities, counties, councils of governments, public housing authorities, private nonprofit organizations and other eligible organizations per U.S. Department of the Treasury regulations, to provide housing stability services to income eligible households experiencing housing instability.
Revisions to the NOFA include clerical updates, a corrected link to the HSS webpage and a revision to the scoring criteria section 3B for existing ERA1 HSS subrecipients. The revised NOFA is available at https://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/HSS.htm. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Austin local time, on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022.
