Two New Clean Energy Programs in California

The California Housing Partnership (CHP) launched two new clean energy programs in 2022. CHP will be administering these, in addition to Solar on Multifamily Affordable Housing and Low-Income Weatherization Program. The Building Initiative for Low-Emissions Development (BUILD) Program offers up to $80 million over four years to cover all-electric building measures for new construction throughout the state. The Comprehensive Affordable Multifamily Retrofit (CAMR) Program offers up to $92 million over five years towards energy efficiency measures for Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) customers.
