The California Housing Partnership (CHP) launched two new clean energy programs in 2022. CHP will be administering these, in addition to Solar on Multifamily Affordable Housing and Low-Income Weatherization Program. The Building Initiative for Low-Emissions Development (BUILD) Program offers up to $80 million over four years to cover all-electric building measures for new construction throughout the state. The Comprehensive Affordable Multifamily Retrofit (CAMR) Program offers up to $92 million over five years towards energy efficiency measures for Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) customers.
