The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) has posted a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a study of senior rental housing in Michigan. This RFP is a revised version of one posted in October of 2021. The revised version focuses solely on senior rental housing (omitting senior homeownership) and has been scaled back somewhat in scope from the original version. The purpose of the study is to better understand the impediments to increasing the state’s supply of affordable senior rental housing and the action steps the Authority could explore to overcome these impediments. Proposals are due to MSHDA-Procurement@michigan.gov by 4 p.m. ET on February 22.
