Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) announced that it is extending the deadline for four percent LIHTC/Private Activity Bond application through 11:59 p.m. PT on October 4. OHCS is specifically seeking:

  • New initial applications for four percent LIHTC/PAB projects that would be ready to reach construction closing between Jan. 1 to June 30, 2023. These projects must have balanced committed sources and uses. OHCS does not have the resources to fill funding gaps and can only prioritize budget-ready applications at this time.
  • Status updates and closing timeline commitments for projects already in the four percent pipeline. These projects will be held to meet readiness benchmarks moving forward, including addressing any funding gaps and meeting programmatic deadlines.
  • Current pipeline projects, including those with accepted or under review pre-applications, accepted 2023 Housing Authority transactions and OHCS competitively funded projects are eligible to request to be considered for a nine percent credit.
  • Projects with accepted or wait-listed pre-applications that do not respond by the due date risk forfeiture of their calendar placement.
