Any development team member intending to participate in a multifamily project application to be submitted in calendar year 2023 who has not received a capacity approval letter from Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) or whose capacity approval letter has expired must submit a Development Team Capacity Application.

In anticipation of the opening of the following application in the spring of 2023, development team members are strongly encouraged to submit their Development Team Capacity applications by mid-March.

  • 2023 Tax-Exempt Bond (TEB) with KHC Gap Financing Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA);
  • Disaster Recovery with CDBG-DR Funds + KHC Gap Financing Tax-Exempt Bond NOFA (for disaster declarations occurring in 2021); and
  • 2024 Competitive nine percent Housing Credit Application.

As a reminder, credit review documents submitted with the capacity application are valid for only six months. Applicants should plan to submit a capacity application within six months of any anticipated funding application submission if requesting KHC funds. Otherwise, the credit review documents may have to be resubmitted with the funding application.
