Last week, HUD awarded $75 million in loan guarantee commitments to the cities of Omaha (NE), Oakland, Fresno and Redding (CA). This funding will enable transformative investments in housing, community facilities and economic development. The funding provided through the Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program will support impactful projects that build stronger communities and provide inclusive, robust opportunities for low- and moderate-income individuals.

FY 2025 Appropriations Update
In the Senate Appropriations Committee, the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies subcommittee held a hearing to review the President’s FY 2025 HUD budget request.
