The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) released the final National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) guidelines and Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) of approximately $172 million. Eligible applicants include organizations, agencies or other entities (including a public housing agencies, Native American Entities, for-profit entities or nonprofit entities). The Guidelines further detail requirements for eligible applicants and application forms are available on the NHTF webpage. The application deadline is 5 p.m. PT on December 28, for applicants seeking NHTF funds from Non-Rural Areas and Rural Areas Target funds.
