Oregon Housing and Community Services (Affordable Rental Housing Division) announced an open Request for Applications (RFA) for the Modular Housing Development Fund (MHDF). The RFA and all information required to submit an application is located on the OregonBuys website. Oregon will hold a virtual pre-application conference to discuss the RFA on November 21 at 11 a.m. PT via Zoom. Participation in this conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory. The primary objective of the RFA is to increase modular home and modular home component production capacity to support home builders and developers in meeting housing demand. Funding for the MHDF Program comes from a $20 million general fund appropriation in the 2023 legislative session under House Bill 2001.
