The Department of Energy (DOE) published a new case study on Using Whole Home Energy Rebates to Preserve Affordable Multifamily.
Background: The Inflation Reduction Act authorized $8.8 billion for home efficiency and electrification project rebates through two programs administered by DOE: Home Efficiency Rebates Program (Sec. 50121) and Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates Program (Sec. 50122). States will administer the rebate programs: four states (California, Hawaii, New Mexico and New York) have already applied, track your state here.
