Representative Tom Cole (R-OK) will chair the full House Appropriations Committee, following the retirement of Chair Kay Granger (R-TX) at the end of her term. Chair Cole will begin immediately as the appropriations committee begins work on FY 2025 funding. Rep. Cole previously chaired the House Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD) Appropriations Subcommittee. The THUD subcommittee will now be chaired by Steve Womack (R-AR).
