Kentucky Housing Corporation HOME & HTF Annual Rent Approval Due July 11 

Multifamily HOME- and HTF-funded projects still in their affordability period are required to submit an annual HOME Annual Rent Approval Form (Home Rental Program Tools) and NHTF Rent Approval Form (National Housing Trust Fund Program Tools) located on the Asset Management page of KHC’s website.  
 
The 2013 HOME Final Rule is an amendment to 24 CFR 92.252(f)(2) (HOME) and 24 CFR 93-302 (HTF), which requires that a Participating Jurisdiction (PJ) review and approve rents for each HOME- and HTF -assisted project annually to ensure that the project complies with the HOME and HTF rent limits and to prevent undue increases that would result in a hardship for the residents. 
 
The HUD-published HOME and HTF rent limits have an effective release date of June 15, 2025.
