Maine Gov. Janet Mills approved a bill that increases the State’s Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit annual project cap as of Jan. 1, 2025. L.D. 146 allows up to $10 million to be claimed in the first two years of the four-year credit. The credit was previously capped at $5 million per year, which remains the claimable ceiling in years three and four.
