North Dakota Housing Finance Agency partnered with U.S. Housing Consultants to provide National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) training on Oct. 7, 2025, at the Quality Inn in Bismarck, ND.
This full-day NSPIRE course will include a breakdown of the new severity ratings, pass/fail ratings and applicability across various HUD programs, including HOME, Housing Trust Fund, LIHTC and Section 8. Attendees will learn procedures for closing out findings on REAC’s online system, handling REAC appeals, understanding non-compliance consequences and navigating new oversight processes. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of NSPIRE standards and the codes underlying these requirements to ensure they are compliance ready.

Register online by Aug. 31, 2025 to receive the early bird rate of $165. After August 31, the fee will increase to $200. Registration closes at 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 15, 2025 to allow NDHFA’s staff time to prepare for the event and for training manuals to be processed and shipped.
