  NH&RA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors which is elected annually by its membership at the organization’s annual meeting. The Executive Committee is comprised of the organization’s officers and is elected annually by the Board of Directors. Connecticut HFA Announces 2026 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Due Dates & Info Session

The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority announced important dates for the 2026 competitive 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Round.

The application deadline for the 2026 9% LIHTC Round is March 4, 2026 by 4:00 PM.

The 2026 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) was approved by Governor Lamont in October and is posted on CHFA’s website here.

Additionally, CHFA will be holding a live webinar on October 27 at 2 PM EST with full details on changes to the QAP, the 2026 9% LIHTC Round process, requirements, and helpful hints.

Please note – this webinar will include presentations from CHFA staff only and will have ample time for questions.

Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta Multifamily Housing Development Fund Applications Due June 30

Funding for FHLBank Atlanta’s Multifamily Housing Bridge Fund is still available through June 30, 2026. Up to $500,000 are available per project, to close funding gaps and bring affordable housing projects to life. Apply here.
