Minnesota Housing will host a webinar to discuss the impacts of the recent FY2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) NOFO release. The CoC NOFO proposes a shift in funding and priorities away from permanent supportive housing, which is the combination of deeply affordable and permanent housing with wraparound supportive services which ends homelessness and leads to housing stability. Minnesota Housing is working with partners to understand the impacts of the NOFO and prevent it from proceeding.
Many Minnesota Housing-financed developments use CoC funds to support rental assistance, service funding and operating costs for households in supportive housing.
Minnesota Housing will host a virtual gathering to surface questions, elevate impact for supportive housing residents and buildings, and plan for the pivots that may be needed in properties with Minnesota Housing financing that receive CoC Permanent Supportive Housing funding. Minnesota Housing will not be able to advise for projects and partners outside of Minnesota Housing-financed properties.
