The Virginia Housing Alliance would like to invite affordable housing practitioners in Virginia to a virtual webinar on Tuesday, December 16th to learn about recent changes to Virginia’s state code related to property tax assessments of affordable housing. These changes go into effect on January 1, 2026.
During the 2025 General Assembly, VHA successfully advocated for HB2245, which clarified the manner in which tax assessors are required to value affordable housing and how affordable housing providers can submit relevant information to assessors to ensure greater accuracy.
Attendance is free, but registration is required. This event will be recorded and made available to all who register.
