The Connecticut Housing Finance is hosting a LIHTC compliance monitoring webinar on May 7, 2026 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Owners, Developers, Management Agents and compliance staff representing new and older LIHTC projects are encouraged to attend annually.
Owners and Management Agents of Connecticut Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments are required to attend LIHTC training. Attendance at this Workshop for CHFA’s Tax Credit Compliance Monitoring will be credited toward such training for 2026.
CHFA and Spectrum will provide an overview of the allocation and compliance monitoring components of the tax credit program. Monitoring requirements to be covered include processing applications and completing Tenant Income Certifications. Spectrum will explain how to complete verification forms, review common mistakes and best practices, and provide tips on how to prepare for a Spectrum review. This will also include updates to HOTMA and NSPIRE standards.
