Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) has completed its review of the pre-applications submitted in the 2027 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funding round. The rankings are published at this link. Please note that these are preliminary rankings and are not an indication of which projects may be selected for funding after the full applications are reviewed and scored.
Upcoming Deadlines for 9% LIHTC Multifamily Applications:
Applicants intending to submit a 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) application in 2026 are reminded of the following upcoming deadlines. Please note that all deadlines are noon ET.
June 30, 2026: Deadline to submit a capacity application for participation in the 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funding round. As a reminder, the capacity application process is entity driven, meaning the application must be submitted by the entity seeking capacity approval. Applications submitted on behalf of another entity will not be accepted.
August 28, 2026: Pre-application waiver requests due.
September 11, 2026: Full applications due.
