The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) has released the Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) for Emergency Solutions Grants Program.
The State of Louisiana Emergency Solutions Grants Program (ESGP) Fiscal Year 2024 award is $2,613,163. The current administering agency for the State of Louisiana’s funding allocation under this program is the Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC). The ESGP is designed to assist people with quickly regaining stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis and/or homelessness.
Through establishing regional allocation pools, in conjunction with a competitive grant award process, funds will be distributed to State recipients to carry out the purposes of the ESGP. In anticipation of these federal funds, the LHC is inviting cities, parish’s local municipalities, and Continuum of Care to review this NOFA.
Organizations interested in applying for 2024 ESG funds awarded to the State must read and carefully analyze all NOFA and grant requirements before applying. The LHC also expects applicants to be fully informed of all regulations applicable to ESG, and if funded, to comply with all applicable regulations. In particular, before applying, applicants must be familiar with and knowledgeable of regulations and program requirements.
