NH Housing is hosting a 2027-2028 QAP public hearing on January 20, 2026. The hearing will be held at NH Housing, 32 Constitution Drive, Bedford, NH (enter at the Main Entrance). A virtual attendance option will also be offered.
In light of the substantial and valuable public feedback received—particularly from the November 20, 2025, forum—NH Housing will not be holding an additional forum in January. Instead, staff will proceed directly to the public hearing. Although the public hearing was originally scheduled for February 2026, NH Housing has long aimed to finalize the Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) early enough to support applicants preparing submissions later in the year.
Updated QAP Schedule: 2027-2028 Qualified Allocation Plan Schedule
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive final public comments on the draft 2027-2028 QAP for the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, in advance of the NH Housing Board of Directors meeting scheduled for January 22, 2026. In developing the draft QAP Staff have carefully reviewed and considered all public input received.
The draft QAP will be posted on NH Housing’s website prior to the public hearing.
